📈 All my SEO secrets

Hey 👋

In 2016, I was sitting at my desk during my marketing internship — mindlessly browsing around the web trying to figure out what “SEO” was because my manager told me we should focus on it.

I came across a blogger named Morgan who had a post on how SEO had helped her grow her blog and how she was making a full-time living off sponsorships and affiliate revenue.

Using the SimilarWeb chrome extension, I saw she had a whopping 70K visitors/month to her website. Woah. Something in that moment, sitting at my desk, made me want to try and do the same thing.

The next couple of years consisted of me jumping from idea to idea. Maybe I’ll start an ecommerce store! Maybe I’ll start a media brand! Maybe I’ll try to become the best startup marketer in the world! Oh wait, maybe I should just focus on finishing my engineering degree…

I drove myself crazy.

Fast forward to 2024, and while some of those years were extremely painful, I’m so grateful for where I’ve come. But more importantly, I’m grateful for the skills I was able to acquire.

In 2019, I was given a chance to work at my dream company, Webflow. And over the next few years, I found myself spearheading a lot of the SEO initiatives there — helping scale SEO traffic from non-branded keywords by over 900%.

From there, I left to build Marketer Milk — growing this newsletter with SEO. But what I don’t tell anyone is that, while I have never done a sponsorship or ad on this newsletter, the Marketer Milk website actually pays all of my living expenses through affiliate revenue driven by SEO (I won beehiiv’s top affiliate partner):

And then I went out and freelanced with SaaS companies — growing every single client site I’ve worked on:

Service business in the business operations space

Service business in the business operations space

SaaS company in the beauty industry

And more…

But today, for the very first time, I’m pitching my own product here — Content Marketing Course.

Content Marketing Course is my flagship course on creating SEO campaigns that grow your website's organic traffic and revenue. It's the course I wish I had when I first started in my marketing career.

The course is a complete documentation of everything I've learned (and do) over my 8-year career as an SEO and marketing professional.

From my time leading SEO and content marketing at Webflow, to building the Marketer Milk website and scaling it to over 3,000 visitors per day, to working with dozens of tech companies to help them scale organic growth — everything I do is documented in this course.

My goal with this program was to make it for the younger version myself. Or, if I somehow lost all of my memory, I can go through this course and remember how to do everything I do today.

The course is structured into five modules and goes over the entire process from idea to scale.

Here are the modules:

  • Introduction: How to think like Google

  • Module 1: Setting up your website

  • Module 2: Creating a content strategy

  • Module 3: How to create SEO content

  • Module 4: Publishing SEO content the right way

  • Module 5: Tracking analytics & conversions + SEO maintenance

Each of these modules includes several videos and written guides to cover each topic thoroughly. I did not hold back and aimed to keep no stone unturned. It’s over 11+ hours of videos.

There’s also a community so you can ask me questions, and so we can all interact and learn from each other.

It's fair to say this is the most work I've ever put into any project — and I'm proud of how its come out. After over a year of planning, and 4 months of consistent work, the course is finally out!

There is a big discount right now until October 30, 2024 so go and check it out!

(Also, there’s no way I could sell a product I’m not 100% confident in. So if you decide it’s not for you, there’s a 14 day money back guarantee.)

I hope you didn’t mind me selling something in this email for the first time since I started the newsletter in 2022 🫣.

Okay that’s it for now. Next week I’ll have a real marketing tactic I’ve been eager to share.
